The ultimate cleaning tool for your aquarium. Hang-on tank style housing operates just like your power filter, but with a gravel cleaning tube instead of a traditional water tube, intake nozzle and a re-useable cartridge/collection bag. Completely sealed and self-priming motor runs without leaks or spills.

Works like a standard gravel vacuum tube except that the water is siphoned up into the filter, the debris is trapped in the filter sock, and circulated back into the tank clean. All of your water does not go down a drain, so you can vacuum until the tank is clean without fear of too much water leaving the tank.

The sock is very fine, and as debris collects in the sock, the mesh plugs and the pore sizes get even smaller. If you have very fine debris, simply leave the PGC running in the system for a bit after you complete the maintenance and the system will collect all the fine particle debris.

The PGC works perfectly with sand substrate as well as gravel when used with the included brush attachment. When the blue brush is attached to the bottom of the vacuum, it disperses the flow and keeps the sand at the bottom of the tube while dirt and debris rises up and into the sock.

The PGC cleaner is designed to run only when you are actively cleaning the aquarium. When done, unplug, take to sink and rinse clean and dry, then store the unit until next scheduled maintenance.
